The monograph is based on the author’s Ph. D. thesis of the author, which was created during the period of active emergence of the movement “Save Old Kyiv” movement, during the protests in Kharkiv’s Gorky Park and other high-profile environmental events in modern Ukraine. The book describes the ideology and peculiarities of the structure of environmental movements in Europe and the United States, and the process of their transformation into political parties.
