Literary event in Gostiny Dvir (Kyiv, 2013)
On February 8, at 19:00, Gostiny Dvor will host a literary readings by Oleg Andros.
Oleg Andros is a caring, restless, generous and versatile person. Oleh is a PhD in Political Science, environmental activist, co-founder of the Independent Journalists Union “Nature First”, author of the book “People Have Been Here”, co-author of the book “Territory of the Spirit”.
At the next literary party in Gostiny Dvor, Oleg will read excerpts from his works, including Territory of the Spirit, co-authored with Angelika Komarova (Angelina Yar). This book is both a sharp satire on Kyiv’s modern corrupt officials (whose names are easy to decipher) and on the “incorruptible” media. At the same time, it is an eco-fantasy – a lyrical song dedicated to Kyiv and the people who sincerely love their city and protect it from destruction. The Ukrainian translation of the book will be presented at the event.
The AndrosLand band (Ihor Rud – guitar, Lila Perehuda, Elsa Wright – vocals) will also perform songs by Oleg Andros.
You can learn more about the work, environmental and social activities of Oleg Andros on his website and in his blogs

In short, Dedushkin proposes to build a shopping center, a casino, a strip bar, a restaurant called Lavra’s…

– Got it, boss! Accepted for execution. What are we going to do with UNESCO?
– According to the scheme. As soon as an old building is destroyed, it is removed from the UNESCO list. We can arrange a couple of firefighters. Gorlitsa is doing a good job in this regard, he has old things burning on Malaya Zhitomirskaya from time to time, and the mosquito doesn’t bother him. So everything will be in the best shape.
